Everyone say "thank you, Mr. Nolan!"
funny gimmick movie makes brain go brbrbrbrbrbrbr
Tenet fails the Bechdel test, but they do put Elizabeth Debicki, a 6'3" woman, in high heels, so feminism still wins
The way this movie navigates the themes of time, the uncertainty of the future, apocalyptic fears, and struggling to understand where agency begins and ends feel incredibly true to the moment! It's a dystopian movie about approaching danger that hasn't quite arrived yet, but we know it probably will - we just don't know how bad it's gonna be, or what it'll mean for us.
