    Everything Everywhere All at Once

Yeah I kept goin back and forth on this one if it was a 5 for me. Don’t think I can really put it into words but i vibed with this a lot. Really well put together and just creative and fun. One of the best movies I’ve seen in awhile

  • Sonic the Hedgehog 2

    Sonic the Hedgehog 2

Totally fine some jokes landed some didn’t but I’ll probably never watch it again. Bit of a meme watching experience which elevated seeing it opening night

  • Halloween

Simple yet effective - doesn’t waste your time and gets right to it. Mike Myers has no lines and just wants to kill everyone no strings attached. Some slightly off dialogue here and there with some performances that range from great to meh but all around really solid.

  • No Time to Die

    No Time to Die

I would say I enjoyed this more then specter. Overall just kinda meh- really enjoyable parts followed up with long portions of exposition. Didn’t really feel like I got a good idea of who the villain was and the film felt way to looooong.

  • Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan

Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan

“Night time is the right time.”

One of the worst movies I’ve ever seen.

  • Sweet Girl

    Sweet Girl

Kinda just forgettable. Cool twist saves it alittle but doesn’t stop the movie form being overall fairly bland.

  • City of God

    City of God

Extremely surprised on this one. Great performances, well paced writing, and some fantastic  cinematography. I felt like one or two sections went a bit long but they helped make the city feel lived in and alive.

  • The Notebook

    The Notebook

Just kinda boring and predictable that’s it.

  • The Suicide Squad

    The Suicide Squad

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

After thinking it over- best Modern live action DC film by a long shot- tons of good shots and fun writing moments. Was consistently engaged throughout. Not perfect - not every joke landed and wished there could have been a bit more character work. The movie serving as a critique of American interventions  in different countries and the effects that could have was great. Also seeing an accurate version of starro the conqueror on the screen was awesome. Easily my favorite movie that came out in 2021 so far.

  • Citizen Kane

    Citizen Kane

Not much to be said about this one that hasn’t already been said. Tons of depth in the writing and amazing film work - not my favorite movie but absolutely a masterpiece. Lives up to the hype
