I have no idea why I continued watching this after the first 15 minutes. 🤣
What a great piece of art. The first time I saw this it stayed with me. The ideas kept lingering in my head, I couldn't stop thinking about it for days, weeks, months even. Those are the kind of movies I rate well.
It Comes at Night is an eerie exploration of a apocalyptic world where you fear the next time you walk outside—even during the day! The idea of something being in the air is a scary thought in and of itself.
This is a great watch if you enjoy suspenseful thrillers with a hint of the supernatural that leaves much to question.
A crazed, haunted, and seasick-like tale of cabin fever, with only two actors, an inspired script, and lasting imagery.
I appreciated a lot about how the cinematography was executed nothing in lighting and framing, as well as the camera movement. Very well done. This story deserved its 4:3 aspect ratio and black and white images.
The atmosphere didn’t disappoint me since I knew it was coming from the creators of The Witch. Which I would company that compliment with the writing…
