  • The Boulet Brothers' Dragula: Resurrection

    The Boulet Brothers' Dragula: Resurrection

Ugh. How could anything make my queer, little gay heart beat more passionately. This takes drag, horror, filth & glamour and mixes it up with very poignant stories of these queer individuals, who are trying to make the most out of life.

I can't even put in words how much Dragula and the Boulet Brother's have changed EVERYTHING. Bravo.

I will watch Dragula 'til the end of time.

Oh, and the top queens from this episode were Saint, Priscilla, Dahli, and Victoria Black. They are head and shoulders above everyone else.

And one final note-this is WAAAAY better TV than RuPaul's Drag Race.

Let me just say this: this is a beautiful work of art that just is. Everything is beautiful about this-acting, cinematography (it is stunning),ย screenplay, direction, music (my GOD-the music),ย sets....this feels like a masterpiece.

And let me also say 2 things: Jonathan Majors is going to be a huge star and the director (I hope)ย is going to have a long career.

Spectacular. Iโ€™m so floored by it-itโ€™s a beautiful, meditative, slightly surreal look into gentrification and racism.

Rob Jabbaz has emerged out of obscurity to release the impeccable gory horror The Sadness. And this short film, was equally fantastic. Really, really good.

The mosquito/Cthulhu/the "thing" was amazing. So glad Jabbaz has emerged onto the scene.

Ooof. This was a challenging film to watch. It was kind of a bat-shit insane psychological/folk horror. Iโ€™ll be thinking about this for a few days.ย

However-itโ€™s really, really good for people who are up for the challenge.

Oh, and the cinematography is fucking exquisite.

This was violent, miserable, graphic and it was oddly, glorious.

I mean, this movie came out of nowhere and blew every zombie/plague/gore movie out of the water.

Iโ€™m stunned. Itโ€™s so vile and sick and twisted-but it is made SOOO well.

Good lord - I am a sadist apparently.

This was really something else. Eggers has gone into Valhalla with his directing. It was so bleak, but at the end their was hope. It was folk horror, bloody hand-to-hand warfare, and sumptuous cinematography.

    I was utterly spellbound.
