In my opinion, a great movie is a film that contributes something worthwhile and meaningful to the state of cinema. It's a film that pushes the boundaries of previously established conventions and proves to be a successful project with regard to all of its components: the acting and directing, the screenplay, the cinematography and other technical aspects.
