Pig ★★★★½

There were two elderly couples in the front row who were very excited about this and one said “I’ve heard the scenery is lovely” and it was adorable

I was expecting this to be “ahh Nicholas Cage is murdering people to get to his pig!!!” But it was extremely emotional and very much a “what is it all for?” type of movie. Wondering why he and his dead wife kept wine at their gravesite.

I forgot how annoying it is to have a quiet moment in a theater during an intense scene and have the next theater blaring music. This movie made me want to get into cooking again. Really phenomenal work and I’ve never seen a movie show “production interns” as an entire screen that early on in the ending credits.
