I’ve known how this story plays out for months but it somehow still shocked me until the end. I just...don’t know how I’m supposed to feel justified or satisfied for both women in the narrative. very disappointing script masked by very pretty aesthetics, costumes, and actors 😪 yikes

the thing that immediately caught my attention about this show was how quickly I fell in love with the characters. it only took about 30 minutes for me to hold a place for each of them in my heart. and that kind of love is what made this series so painful to go through in all the necessary ways. I’m going to think of these characters and the millions they represent forever. such an important piece of queer storytelling that deserves to be told and watched by all. la! 💞

while it pains me to see this trilogy end, I am left w a full heart knowing that I got to experience it at all. I don’t think I’ll ever forget what it felt like seeing a young asian american girl as the lead in a romantic comedy. getting to know lara jean was like meeting a teenage version of myself. I see so much of myself in her and that kind of representation is unmatched. thank you for everything lara jean.

as always, the cinematography and soundtrack outshines. truly a perfect ending to this sweet and silly little story. LJ + PK always and forever 🤍

so much to unpack in the storyline but what a fucking RIDE it was watching zendaya and john david act off of each other in a setting like that. two powerhouses of actors that this world is truly not worthy of

btw the knife scene...that’s it that’s the scene.

it’s been a rough few weeks and when the opportunity came to screen this again, I jumped at it so fast. I just love it so much.

the post Q&A moderated by sandra oh was extraordinary. sandra’s emotional enthusiasm and overwhelming loss for words is exactly how I feel!!! there was a moment where she and steven yeun both got so emotional talking about the process of unpacking their relationships with their parents and their lives as second gen children. the…

not a single lie was told. joe keery could do baby driver but ans*l elg*rt couldn’t do kurt kunkle

^in an interview he said someone asked him if he was baby driver and he said yes lmao

my first movie of 2021 and absolutely not mad at it. I can’t believe I’ve gone 16 christmases without seeing it?? so much chaos and ambiguity that it doesn’t make sense but also makes perfect sense. also cried like 5 times! six words:

    dermot mulroney: hot
    rachel mcadams: hot

v excited to add this to my yearly holiday movie lineup!
