    Dawn of the Dead

    ★★★★½

A sequel that is FUNDAMENTALLY different from the previous entry but still is fantastic.

Where Night of Living Dead is a dark quick guerilla style dramatic horror flick. Dawn of the dead is a bright social satire that is sometimes pretty goofy.

Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion

    ★★★★½

An attack on the senses. An anime series that slowly evolves into an existential montage without form. There are no rule dictating the endless amount of art styles in the end. It is only a freeflow of thought and a plea to choose life.

I watched the series in a week and this film immediately afterward. I know that those speeds aren't considered binging, but looking back I probably did it a little too quickly given how desne the subject…
