when i found out a white man directed this everything made sense
this movie had potential for me because of the hype i heard and it couldn’t reach it. the complete switch in the middle, really did absolutely nothing. i think they wanted to try and calm the chaos of the first half with the second half being a sort of therapy but i just didn’t care enough about emily to want to be apart of it. i was still so invested in tyler, i wanted to know him more.
i mean the cinematography was absolutely stunning. i adored it. the soundtrack, overrated it was literally just okay.
kelvin and sterling carried this film, i wish i got more out this
