This is an excruciating film that thinks it is way smarter than it actually is. I did admire it's set design and fantastic locational sound design though, yes.
This film is capital B 'bonkers.' Sure it's pretty much exactly the first film but in a bigger scale but that's kind of what makes it awesome. It's an impressive, gloopy, feverish dream of a film that benefits from it's perhaps accidentally dream-like acting and heavy, heavy 1980s aesthetic.
Stand out moments: The ridiculously adorable attacking demon puppet and the demonic fight up the elevator cables. Jeepers what a crazy film!
I can definitely say that this was an incredibly and impeccably well put together film even if I myself am not exactly it's specific target demographic audience person, so to say.
