Is this a comedy? Well if it isn't, I was sure laughing a lot. The amount of cringeworthy moments makes this a staple in cringe comedy, as far as Im concerned. However, It's also sad, as this is real life, and you can't help but feel sorry for Huma.
Its so true that life can be much more fascinating than fiction, and Weiner definitely exemplies that. Its a perfect depiction of what I enjoy most in tragedy; the redemption of someone disgraced, only later to have them show their true colours again. Its a masterpiece of storytelling.
Would I recommend? Hell to the yeah, this is a wicked picture to throw on for pure entertainment. It's also great for exploring thought about how politicians act, in terms of being able to overcome scandal. Whether there is a relationship between attention and political life, as Weiner suggests, is something that will leave you thinking.
