Guy Ritchie is well-known for his unique style that can make even Aladdin look decent. Unfortunately, Wrath of Man is a painfully generic action film with Jason Statham in a leading role. The plot is messy and excessively serious for the first part, but still enjoyable to watch.
Jason Statham is the best when he has an opportuinity to show his comedic side. Here he just blurts out his lines and everything comes off too serious and emotionless. It's not that big of a deal, but there are moments that are more funny than serious. Eddie Marsan who works with Guy quite often is good too. Scott Eastwood is also surprisingly good in this film and even his general lack of charisma wasn't an issue for this role.
This film is a lot of fun if you watch it with friends, but that's about it. It lacks Guy Ritchie's style and charm which is one of the reasons why so many people love him. Still, there are things here to enjoy, especially the final heist sequence and the score.
