  This movie has broken my heart. I’ve only felt this emotion once before: the year I carried a torch for Haley Hudson, who couldn’t love me back. I find myself digging my nails into my arms to distract me from the way this film has made me feel. I can’t sleep. Portrait of a Lady on Fire has ruined me.
