I rewatched this because I’m going to do a presentation on it in one of my law school classes. Strikes a great balance between teaching, informing, and engaging while covering a huge amount of information that many people still aren’t familiar with.

Force Majeure 2014
The incredible acting created palpable tension that made it impossible to look away even in the film's quieter moments. Supplemented by a thunderous score, gorgeous nature shots, and thought-provoking dialogue, I have a hard time understanding how this didn't make the list of the Academy's Best Foreign Film nominees.

The film was missing something in the first half that kept me from connecting but found it in the second half...can't put my finger on what it was though. Great performances all around but this is Rebecca Hall's show from beginning to end. Kate Plays Christine makes a great argument for why this movie shouldn't have been made but I think Rebecca gave Christine the respect she deserved without sensationalizing what she did or why she did it.
