Top Gun: Maverick 2022
This was a blast. Great big budget filmmaking and solid characters and storyline. Really wish that Tony Scott could have worked his magic on this material. I have no doubt that it would have been even better, but it was cool to see them tribute him in the credits. Joseph Kosinski does his film justice and is considerably better in many ways. Smart science fiction! I have vivid memories of the A&E adaptation but this is way better. Straight forward problem solving with moments that make you go âoh noâ and âhell yeahâ. Good stuff.
