This was a blast. Great big budget filmmaking and solid characters and storyline. Really wish that Tony Scott could have worked his magic on this material. As sequels to horror films go Happy Death Day 2U definitely stands out. The horror is a bit more downplayed than it was in the first film, but there is still a lot of sequences that are intense and will play well with audiences.
