    Top Gun: Maverick

    This was a blast. Great big budget filmmaking and solid characters and storyline. Really wish that Tony Scott could have worked his magic on this material. I have no doubt that it would have been even better, but it was cool to see them tribute him in the credits. Joseph Kosinski does his film justice and is considerably better in many ways.
