    Fighting with My Family

Fighting with my family is a nice feel-good movie with a few laughs and a lot of heart. I enjoyed it from start to finish, with the fights being a highlight. Of course, they have to market this with the Rock as the face but don't expect him to play a particularly big part in the film.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Pros of the movie: Brie Larson and Samuel L Jackson are awesome, I loved the 90's vibes, Stan Lee's cameo and tribute were brilliant and the last section of the movie was some empowering female badassery. Also, I loved Goose, obviously.

The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part

I really enjoyed the first Lego movie and was pleasantly surprised by it - going into the sequel I didn't really have ~many~ expectations, and it ended up pretty much hitting the mark. It was decent, but nothing special.

Fantastic performance from Rami Malek who was incredibly believable as Freddie Mercury and clearly very committed to the role. Of course, as a Queen fan, the music was fantastic. The only downfall of the movie for me really was that I wanted to spend more time in the early Queen phase - the pacing of the story rushed over some of this to get to the meatier parts which is understandable but also left me longing for more of the band's heyday. Highly recommend watching this movie - not entirely necessary in IMAX but the Wembley scene did look pretty nifty on the big screen.
