Cringe-inducing traps, a good twist, interesting story, the return of Tobin Bell— Saw X trounces so many of its predecessors by ditching its convoluted lore and going back to basics. Feels good to say this rules, maybe the world is healing. 

Also, is there any other horror theme song that makes you want to cheer as soon as it starts playing? Doubt it. That’s the power of Saw, baby.

Hands down the best SAW movie. Props to everyone who had the will to live this time around. It made the movie 10x better than it had any right to be.

The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar exudes a distinct theatrical vibe. The set design and the way the scenes are presented feel like a live theater performance. It's a refreshing departure from the conventional cinematic experience, adding a layer of whimsical charm.

you have to understand how important it is that my mom liked this movie. she hates movies and famously won’t see them, especially after the spiderman far from home venice fakeout incident of 2019 (she saw venice in a far from home advertisement and thought it was a movie about venice so she got the whole family tickets and fell asleep immediately once she realized that—like i had told her—this was a movie about spiderman). a haunting in venice had everything she likes in a movie: venice, michelle yeoh, beautiful housing interiors, and venice. thank you mr branagh for bringing such joy to my family
