The 50 most divisive feature films, concert movies, comedy specials and other curiosities of the 2010s, according to the Letterboxd community. These are the titles from the 2010s that had the widest spread of ratings (between 1 and 5 stars). Recomputed on 1 January 2020 with an improved algorithm and a higher minimum view count to more accurately capture the films our members couldn’t agree on.
We have also explored this list by pronoun breakdown (i.e. the gender pronoun that Letterboxd members select in their profile settings). Here are the results for non-binary members, for members identifying as she/her, and for he/him.
To be included, titles had to be 60 minutes or longer, have a 5,000-view minimum, and a US theatrical, streaming or DVD release between 1/1/2010 and 12/31/2019 (with exceptions for films that had no US distribution).
