100
After careful consideration, I can confidently say this is one of the easiest 100s I’ve ever given. There are endless things to praise about this remarkable masterpiece, but I’ll try to keep my full thoughts at least somewhat contained. Krzysztof Kieślowki’s (try saying that five times... or, once for that matter) direction is some of the best I’ve ever seen. The camera movements are so incredibly brilliant and thought-provoking. The pristine editing choices, the jaw-dropping cinematography, the authentic feel of the dialogue.... UGH I’m just so happy right now. Cannot wait to checkout the Colors trilogy, this was phenomenal.
