J OLED’s review published on Letterboxd:
Not the best South Korean film ever (or of the last twenty years). Not even in the top three Bong Joon-Ho films. If North Korea wasn’t always alluded to, you might be able to mistake this for a Jordan Peele Foreign film. I’ll have to wait until after seeing Les Miserables, and Portrait of a Lady on Fire to see whether or not this is the third or fourth best film at Cannes.
