I liked this one! Much more of a proper sequel than Freddy's Revenge. Lots of gruesome effects and body horror. We get some more backstory on Freddy and his motivation is clear. I can't help but be annoyed that the ambiguous ending of the first one is just ignored but I guess I already knew it was never going to be resolved. There is one stupid scene in this movie (it involves a skeleton) that really could've been left out but the other 90% of the movie was engaging and effective.
