Johnny Barrett’s review published on Letterboxd:
Light, witty and funny as so many romcoms of the 40's and 50's are. Stanwyck and Coburn share snappy retorts at lightning speed and Fonda does a great job looking like a blank, bumbling boob (but still sweet). I was impressed with the mirror peeping shot early on for how well the lighting was staged on the matte hand so it looked like everything was happening in the room, and the card bluffing scene may be one of the more subtle comedic setpieces I've seen in a movie. Other than being a little too brief and not quite as funny as I'd like, still a small fun romp.
