Forget everything I said about Mandy. This is the craziest film of all time.
This movie is essentially the cinematic equivalent of a bad trip. And personally, I love that. Then again, any film that has Cage, acid trips, cults, tunnels, and a PNW setting is impossible for me to dislike.
Nicolas Cage reaffirms my belief that's he's a one-of-kind actor. I can't imagine anyone doing this role but him. He's funny and at times even moving.
Mandy isn't for everyone, but if you're looking for something that's wildly original and totally fucking nuts, this is it.
