    Incredibles 2

    It’s nowhere near as inventive as the original, but Incredibles 2 ups the style and action, and delivers enough great character moments to make it worth the wait. 

    Kinda wish this film was a bit longer and had more of an edge, but oh well. It has enough thematic depth to make it more than just another superhero film, and in the end that alone is enough to make me happy.

    I also appreciated all the Frozone. Every Frozone scene is a perfect scene.

    Watching this in a crowded LA theatre was one of the worst theatre experiences of my life. Everyone was loud and obnoxious, and some even booed at the end. Probably should’ve learned my lesson about watching weird horror in theatres from “It Comes At Night”, but alas.

    Full disclosure, this movie is based on my dad.
