Halsted Bernard’s review published on Letterboxd:
I watched this because I was bummed out and wanted to cheer up. It didn't work, because for all this talk of happiness, the circumstances of Hector's life are all charmed. He has people around him who humour him endlessly. Even those who are meant to strike fear into his heart are brushed away in the end. It is a shallow film meant to inspire deep happiness, but all it does is linger a moment on the surface, and then dissipate.
