A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors

A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors ★★★

Heather Langenkamp and John Saxon returned for this third installment of the franchise, which has an overall better reputation than its controversial predecessor. I prefer Jack Sholder's flick, though. Chuck Russell (THE BLOB) took over the director's chair from Sholder, and Kevin Yagher was once again responsible for the special effects. It has too many (dated) visual effects for my taste, and the showdown was kind of a letdown. It's nonetheless an enjoyable entry to the series, yet the weakest of the original trilogy.
