    Satan's Slaves

    ★★½

    Grimmfest Day 3:

After dying from a strange illness that she suffered for 3 years, a mother returns home to pick up her children.

This was the last film of the day, and I was very tired. Satan's Slaves is a subtitled, slow paced ghost story so I was really struggling. It has enough creepy moments but unless I see it again, I find it hard to give a real assessment.

    Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich

    ★★★½

    Grimmfest Day 3:

All hell breaks loose when a strange force animates the puppets up for auction at a convention, setting them on a bloody killing spree that's motivated by an evil as old as time.

This is a film where Nazi puppets/dolls kill people and it's written by S.Craig Zahler, I was hardly going to be objective. I got what i wanted from this film, inventive kills and some laugh out loud moments. I realise some with think it's a piece of shit, but I had a blast.

    The Station Agent

    ★★★★½

When his only friend dies, a man born with dwarfism moves to rural New Jersey to live a life of solitude, only to meet a chatty hot dog vendor and a woman dealing with her own personal loss.

Second time watch of The Station Agent and I loved it as much as first time round. It's one of those films that even though not a lot happens it's great just to spend time with these characters in this setting. Peter…
