    "I’m looking for this girl.”
    "Yeah. Aren’t we all?”

The clothes, the wonderfully dated dialogue ("Go kiss a duck, marblehead”), the bitchin’ soundtrack! So many reviews say that this movie can make you feel nostalgic for a time you never experienced and I know it’s a big cliché, but...it really makes you feel nostalgic for a time you never experienced.

    Zack Snyder's Justice League

This is a Zack Snyder movie through and through, which for me means that it’s a movie of buts. The CGI is extremely polished, but you can only use so much before it takes me out of the movie; the guy definitely has an eye for action and strives to make every scene as engaging as possible, but the music gets really overwhelming at times; the runtime lets every character shine, but there are too many scenes dedicated to exposition…

This is the scariest movie I’ve seen this month.

A pretty good message about self-acceptance and dealing with one’s heritage is conveyed in the most on-the-nose way imaginable. Amy’s friends are the complete opposite: arrogant, bratty, obsessed with their appearance and constantly causing…

Nothing short of a masterpiece. I bow to Scorsese for making a film that is almost 4 hours long but never failed to keep me invested. The performances really elevate the entire epic, the de-aging CGI never bugged me (cough cough Gemini man) and I can't really compare it to Goodfellas; I think each of these films represents a different side of the mob lifestyle masterfully. The Irishman is gritty and rough, it pulls no punches and ultimately left me…

FINALLY managed to watch this! Completely lived up to the hype. Nolan reaffirms himself as one of the best directors of our time, no doubt. I honestly can’t understand why someone would consider him an hack, and I really don’t agree with his detractors. Will The Prestige and Insomnia change my mind about him? Only time will tell.
