    This was painful, and no I don't mean in a sorrowful, emotional, affecting way. I mean in that I longed for the end.

    The script is so dull, the dialogue awkward, and I had no real sense of Dickenson being a particularly interesting character.

    This was an entrancing film. The cinematography is so beautiful, almost every image is perfect. The editing is mindblowing at times.

    The story is also extremely involving, due partly to the brilliant performances from Wasikowska and Goode, who are intriguing and terrifying at the same time, and partly because of the amazing use of sound.
