    Score: A Film Music Documentary

I love film scores. It's my favorite music genre (if that's how you call it). My favorite film composers are John Williams, John Carpenter, Hans Zimmer and Danny Elfman, although there are many more I love. Lately I've been trying to recreate some of my favorite themes on my piano. I can play almost all of Carpenter's film themes and I can play a lot of Williams' and Zimmer's.
This was a very fascinating documentary. I loved watching my favorite…

  • Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

Yes this is the best of the prequels but it still sucks.
Ewan McGregor, Ian McDiarmid and John Williams' score are the only good things about this whole trilogy.
The effects are better than the first 2.
The last 10 minutes are pretty good.
    Hayden Christensen is still terrible.
This was the least boring of the trilogy but it was still boring.
Atleast now I can say that I have watched the prequel trilogy and I will never watch these pieces of shit ever again.
Now, time to watch the GOOD Star Wars movies.

  • Looney Tunes: Back in Action

    Looney Tunes: Back in Action

Wtf, I remembered this movie being shitty.
But, it's not. It's actually pretty fun.
Way better than that Space Jam shit.
Brendan Fraser is great. He needs to get more movie roles. The whole cast is great.
    The animation is great.
Throughout this whole movie, I kept thinking, "Wow, the cinematography is pretty good. I wonder who shot this?" Then I found out Dean Cundey shot it. No wonder this movie looks so good.
    The score is pretty good.

  • Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones

This is just as bad as Phantom Menace.
I honestly have no idea which one I hate the least.
Ewan McGregor is good. Christopher Lee is great. John Williams' score is great.
This was just fuckin boring, just like Phantom Menace.
Hayden Christensen is not good. Hell, I'd say he's just straight up terrible.
Every single scene with Anakin and Padme SUCKS. IT'S SO BORRRIIIINNNNG.

  • Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace

Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace

    Big fucking yikes.
    Y'all weren't kidding.
    This was not good.
John Williams's score is great. "Duel of the Fates" is amazing.
The Darth Maul fight scene is cool I guess.
But holy shit this was so boring.
I had no idea what was happening and I didn't care about anything that was going on.
Jake Lloyd is...I don't want to say he's terrible, but he's terrible.
    The effects kinda suck.
I am really dreading "Attack of the Clones".

  • Teen Wolf

    Teen Wolf

The dude who directed this went on to direct "Home Alone 4". I have no words.
This is just another forgettable 80s comedy.
    Michael J. Fox was good.
There's just really nothing special about this movie.
Also, fuck this movie for making me think that Mark Holton was gonna be the funny sidekick. Maybe I would have liked the movie more if he was the funny sidekick.

  • Back to the Future Part III

Back to the Future Part III

I've always felt like this movie is underrated.
My favourite of the Back to the Future sequels.
Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Thomas F. Wilson are all still great.
The score and the cinematography are still both great.
Overall, this is a very fun movie and a great conclusion to the series.
Now, hopefully they never remake these movies.

  • Back to the Future Part II

Back to the Future Part II

This has always been my least favorite Back to the Future movie but its still really good.
Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd are still great.
Thomas F. Wilson is great too. During this particular watch, I listened to his voice carefully and realized that he has played many characters on Spongebob, like the dude from The Salty Spittoon and that one strangler fish. The more you know.
Alan Silvestri's score is still great and the cinematography is still great.…

  • The Iron Lady

    The Iron Lady

Honestly, I only watched this because I'm trying to see as many movies with Oscar winning performances during the lockdown.
Meryl Streep is great. You can shit on this movie as much as you want but you can't say that Meryl Streep didn't give a great performance.
    The makeup is great.
The most interesting parts of the movie were all the Jim Broadbent "ghost/spirit" scenes with elderly Margaret Thatcher. Those were the only parts of the movie that I sorta…

  • Back to the Future

    Back to the Future

I often have trouble deciding what movie is my favorite of all time. It's either "Jaws" or this film.
    This film is a masterpiece.
Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd are both great. Lea Thompson, Crispin Glover and Thomas F. Wilson are all great as well.
    Alan Silvestri's score is great.
    Dean Cundey's cinematography is great.
Everything about this film is great.
I've seen this about 100 times and I think I'll watch 100 more times during my lifetime.
    Just a perfect film.

  • Twin Peaks

    Twin Peaks

    Boy, am I in for a ride, aren't I?
    Very, very interesting.
Great cast. The cinematography is great. The music is really good. The atmosphere and tone of the show really creeped me out but I guess that's a normal feeling you get while watching something by David Lynch.
A few slow moments here and there but I am still very interested in watching the rest of the show.

  • It's a Disaster

    It's a Disaster

    Seemed like an appropriate watch.
    The cast is great.
There were a lot of funny moments but overall I thought the movie was decent.
    The poster is great too.
