Peter’s review published on Letterboxd:
A really great and original film that is not "Moby Dick!" After reading the book of accounts from the sailors in this story, this film did an excellent job of showing the struggles they went through to survive and the horrible things they had to do. Ron Howard did a great job directing, and between this and "Rush," I think he's made up any ground he lost with me over the past few years. Chris Hemsworth did a great job. The cast of familiar faces were all convincingly desperate and shared the sense of hunger and thirst that is such a vital element in the film. Oh, and the whale looked terrifyingly great!
