    The Pacifier

Despite there being an (off screen) death near the movie's beginning, this is perfect family fare. Vin Diesel is called upon to play bodyguard for the kids of the man he failed to save at the film's beginning. What follows is kind of a "Kindergarten Cop" type of movie, except Diesel interacts with the kids and teaches them self defense and self respect, etc. It's nothing to tax your brain, just pure fun with quite a few laughs. My favorite…

    Natalie Wood: What Remains Behind

Fine documentary of the famous, beautiful, actress, hosted by her daughter, actress Natasha Gregson Wagner, who is a beauty in her own right. The doc doesn't shy away from the controversy surrounding Wood's accidental death, with Gregson Wagner interviewing Wood's widower Robert Wagner, who is very forthcoming about his actions the night of Wood's death. This…

Here it is. After seeing this a zillion times, I need to review this gem. It's only one of the very best movies EVER! Kurt Russell is the swaggering blowhard, bumbling but heroic truck driver, Jack Burton, who gives out advice from the CB in his semi-truck The Pork Chop Express, and that's between adventures. The adventure we see takes place in, of course, Little China in San Francisco, where Jack helps his best friend Wang Chi (Dennis Dun) try…
