I just watched Stanley Kubrick's sci-fi classic 2001: A Space Odyssey in a cinema. I’m speechless. This film is 10x more excellent on a big screen. 2001 is way ahead of it’s time - think about it - this was made before man landed on the moon!
If you have the opportunity to watch this is cinema - take it. 
Additional Note: The monolith scares me.
