Sweet coming of age movie, didn't really resonate with me but I can see how it would with others.

People might dismiss this as tech nostalgia or like a music biopic for nerds, but it's really its own thing. Glenn Howerton and Jay Baruchel disappear into their roles; you might think that you'd see Dennis or maybe Hiccup, but they are unquestionably Jim and Mike.

And the story works so well. It doesn't play to cliches, it lets the people be people. Jim is an asshole, but he's also right in a lot of ways.

Just an excellent telling of a real (Canadian) rise and fall in a unique and captivating way. Perfect 4 star movie.
