Matt DeTurck’s review published on Letterboxd :
This was amazing in its reflection of the terrors and awkwardness of the late middle-school years. BUT I DID NOT WANT TO RE-LIVE THOSE, so this was an anxious experience.
Otherwise, it's funny, wonderfully acted, strongly directed, has some amusingly-bold music choices, and again: the tone is perfect for what it's trying to portray.
I had tried to forget, but this made me remember, vividly, immediately. And that's an impressive achievement.
