Matt DeTurck’s review published on Letterboxd:
I REALLY enjoyed this! It's got a tighter focus than a lot of biopics, which I prefer (it's not "birth-to-grave" as Adam said). Sumptuous & tactile, with lovely cinematography and production design. Gabriel Yared's score is restrained but pretty. The music & band are excellent, as expected. Renée is excellent—also as expected—and the supporting performances are solid as well. Sad, but lovingly crafted.
