Film is wonderful
Trust, helmed by Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionare) and written by Simon Beaufoy (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 hours) depicts the 1973 kidnapping of John Paul Getty III and the events surrounding the Getty family during the time. The events was last depicted in 2017’s All the money in the world, and I’d say this mini series depicts the real world events a lot more interesting, and more enjoyable. It’s filled with a lot of “Hollywood” so to speak, so that it’s…
Just another factory movie pumped out. It’s not awful, and it’s not great. Just a boring, uninspired film about an otherwise pretty interesting story. Average at best, nothing really stands out, except maybe Mark Whalberg’s wooden performance and some pretty bad line delivery. Would have been 2 and half stars if his performance wasn’t as annoying as it was.
