it’s always so hard for me to explain why i loved a film and what i appreciated about it. i can never find the right words. but it felt like this film took scenes from my life and put them right in front of me; ones that i tried to shove away into the depths of my brain. i forgot that it’s ok to acknowledge them. i will never be able to thank shia enough.
