Damian’s review published on Letterboxd:
Avoided this one for a while after hearing that it’s disappointing in comparison to Three Colours: Red and Blue. I think I’m gonna have to match that sentiment. It’s far from a bad film but the main issue stems from the fact that Karol is an unlikable loser and therefore you’re actively rooting against him which wasn’t the case in the other two films. The cinematography is also nowhere near as prominent and the tone of the film feels off at times, particularly at the end. Overall this is a mixed bag but I’m glad I finally finished the trilogy.
