Memoria 2021
This is my first ever Apichatpong Weerasethakul film so I was a little bit unprepared for how vague and peculiar Memoria ended up being.
As a mood piece I thought it was great; ominous, bizarre and unnerving. However, as a narrative structure I think I needed a little bit more to cling onto⦠or  second watch. Tilda is as spectacular as ever.

Call Me by Your Name 2017
Call Me By Your Name is a transcendent love story, a celebration of self-discovery and the complexities of the human heart. Its two leads are endlessly captivating, beautifully portraying their fascinating characters intriacte feelings and emotions, often without saying a word.
Theres a passion and revelry to this film that only serves to fill you with an overwhelming sense of joy. You would have to be dead inside not to love it.

Garden Party 2017
Using some of the most arresting animated visuals you'll see this year, the beautifully constructed Garden Party is a captivating short created by a group of French 3D artists. Cleverly juxtaposing the majestic, innocence of nature against the grim, brutality of humanity. Dark, primal and a whole heap of fun. Be sure to check out this Academy Award nominee on YouTube.
