There are a couple of laughs here and there but Senior Year suffers from the same problem as a lot of recent high school comedies in that it feels like the writers wrote the dialogue for the teenage characters by googling "Trendy Internet terms", scrolling through a couple of famous Instagram feeds and then copying and pasting some tweets about climate change

Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers was not a movie I expected to find legitimately funny. Can't say every joke hit but the ones that did got some genuine laughs from me

If you're going to make a movie that involves a lot of fan service and easter eggs, this is the way to do it. Whilst there's plenty of "cameos" and visual references, there's clearly a lot of love for the source material
