The action is intense. The characters are charming. The emotion is tangible. Everything feels real because it more or less is. And that conversation that the film is having with itself, with cinema, and with Tom Cruise makes it so special.

I knew I was going to like this thing when the second the lights went down a very loud guttural voice said something before the production logos even came up. I think I may have audibly giggled just from pure joy.
