Daniel Johnson’s review published on Letterboxd:
This film is an absolute nightmare. I have never seen such an effective horror movie. There was a moment where a character looks directly into camera and speaks to the audience and my soul left my body. While I walked out of the theater, I had a sinking feeling in my stomach that I would never be a Jellicle cat...
All joking aside, this film is bad... real bad... but I gave it 5 stars because I want more movies with the absolute insane commitment and the absolutely insane entertainment value that this film somehow manages to have.
Also there was a dog in my theater and I’m not even kidding, it growled at the screen when Ian McKellan started singing, and I agreed with the dog at that point.
