Daniel Pietzsch’s review published on Letterboxd:
This was more of a dumb-phone than a smart-phone. The supernatural never explained, unnecessarily violent in places, constructed jump-scares, and kid-characters that weren’t believable. I don’t know why Ethan Hawke even “starred” in this. It’s also a weird mix of some highschool movie, “Silence of the lambs”-style thriller and “the sixth sense”. But in boring. I’m sorry!
