"If he isn’t a great artist, that means he was just a prick."

This movie's central plot revolves around an aging artist whose personal desire to be remembered are contrasted with the pursuit of acceptance and reassurance by his children.

The acting in this film is outstanding. Dustin Hoffman gives a great performance as this aging artist whose dismissal of his children left them with a desire to be loved and accepted. Harold's(Hoffman) sons Danny(Sandler) and Matthew(Stiller) are undercut by…

“How often we ask for genuine experience when all we really want is emotion?”

This movie is a character study about a man who must come to terms with things outside of his control and the actions he takes to cope with them.

It opens with a silent title sequence reminiscent of old movies in the forties and fifties as the camera slowly crawls toward the First Reformed church from a far black and white shot to a more colorful…

I love you Willa Fitzgerald and Ansel Elgort but seriously, this is probably the worst movie I've seen this year excluding Netflix-produced.

The non-linear narrative does not pay off and doesn't really care about what it's trying to do or say. The revelation at the end was about the dumbest thing I've seen and nothing in the movie was important enough to the plot.

The Vegas segments were pretty good and Finn Wolfhard does a good job acting, but Oakes…

"Tyler, I am going to give you all of my wishes for my birthday."

This is a feel-good movie that addresses some issues that people with Down Syndrome face on a day-to-day basis. It does deliver through expository dialogue, but when you consider the target audience, I'm fine with it.

Shia LaBeouf's character needed a little more development and not through the vacant flashbacks the movie took us through. I have a problem with his overall character and not really…

    "I'll give you a 10-second head start."

I've been going back and forth on this movie trying to decide where it fit, but it's kinda sunk in for me. It's a film that knows what it is and uses the satire to an excellent beat. It isn't the most exciting movie, but it's got enough twists and turns to keep you guessing. The dialogue was used effectively to demonstrate the divisiveness of both sides of the game. It's an absolute…
