Oh my god this stupid humour is beyond me now. Great that it pissed off the north back in the day, but holy hell... still very cringe at parts.

By far, one of the most  Bewilderingly beautiful films I’ve ever watched. This is incredible

  • Dark Phoenix

    Dark Phoenix

    ★★

Watched this with a good group of friends, by the end not one of us could take it seriously. The lack VFX, nearly incomplete dialog and severe plot holes are obvious and jarring. This movie had so much potential, what happened?!

    Absolutely fucked up

  • Rocketman

    Rocketman

    ★★★½

Tremendous storytelling, the right mixture of musical numbers and commentary dialog helped drive home the story of Elton John. A fantastic display of one persons life put up on a film screen in as raw a format as possible.

Quite possibly one of the most stunning animation films I’ve ever seen, everything from the soundtrack to the obscure mini-stories had be on the edge of my seat. I’ll be watching this semi-regularly to discover even more of this universe.

A childhood film I’ve watched over and over again. This movie helped define my love for complex visuals and violent amounts of robots.

  • Incredibles 2

    Incredibles 2

    ★★★½

Kept the pace of the first incredibles, storytellelling made the story a bit self explanatory at times. However the Dialog was incredibly well written.

I learned after watching SOLO that the movie went through multiple directors, knowing this before had I might have noticed more quarks and such. Overall the visuals were fantastic.

Absolutely incredible from start to finish, 2 hours flew by. I was plesently surprised by the after credits scene.

  • Pacific Rim: Uprising

    Pacific Rim: Uprising

    ★★★

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Storyline was strong up until around the middle part. Specifically when we witnessed a Jaeger's head stepped on by a Kaiju; only to have the following scene show that same Jaeger's head as if it were perfectly fine; apart from a deep gouge in the centre.
From there a couple visual elements continued to standout. Seemingly straying from the storyline at times. It felt that half way through they had to re-write a major part of the story.
