I watched this almost entirely because Ben Shapiro hated it so much. I figured it must have merits.
And it didn't disappoint. Intelligent humor with compelling social criticism.
My only real complaint is it turned into Return of the King at the end and wore out its welcome. Like RotK, there wasn't anything wrong with it, it just felt too long. But it was a great time otherwise
Also, I'll be happy to not see pink for a few years 🦇
Wow, what an experience. It's hard to imagine how this looks for anyone that hasn't read the book. I do have some quibbles about plot decisions, particularly the lack of visibility to the paranoia surrounding the plot against the Duke in the first half of the movie. I felt like that was a fairly critical component to the story, and it was totally glossed over and the conclusion was very abrupt.
And, I have a few quibbles like that. But…
