Hatred breeds hatred!
La Haine is a film that follows three main characters within the slums, their own inner views and on their surrounding. The film is still relevant until this day and brings up important questions about morality, masculinity and path.
The concept of time in La Haine is the most interesting part of the way Kassovitz chooses to tell the story particularly the last act. Playing out within twentyfour hours Mathieu Kassovitz manages to explore on backgrounds of the leads and make them to someone you’ve known for a long time. I always had a strong connection to La Haine and it’s a film that is very personal to me.
