The Holy Mountain

The Holy Mountain ★★★★½

It's near impossible to review a film like this where, to someone who hasn't seen it, every scene sounds like a desperate plea to see a psychiatrist. Really, the film is just a lot of nudity, animals and colours being used to satirise religion, politics, business and filmmaking in general.

The Holy Mountain is an experience like no other where, sometimes, all you have to do is laugh at whatever ridiculous event is unfolding before your eyes, and where dialogue is left behind in favour of nipples and testicles, taking you to a world both more magical and more corrupt than our own.
