Spencer 2021
"All I need is a miracle..."
Well here we are...the day of Oscar's nominations. Many counted this film out entirely. I never once gave up hope that at the very least, Kristen Stewart's transformative, incredibly captivating and committed performance, would make it all the way to the Oscar's this year. Early this morning, that became a reality. To say this nomination was long overdue and deserved would be an understatement. Kristen Stewart took most of the world by storm with…

Personal Shopper 2016
"So we made this oath... Whoever died first would send the other a sign."
Slow, delicate, and immensely captivating. Olivier Assayas's 'Personal Shopper' is a deeply personal (no pun intended) supernatural drama, with a few thrills, and an intriguing mystery by it's side. Following an American medium named Maureen (Kristen Stewart), who is currently living in Paris, employed as a personal shopper for a busy celebrity named Kyra (Nora Von Waldstatten). All the meanwhile trying to communicate with her deceased…

The Black Phone 2021
"Wanna see a magic trick?"
Scott Derrickson's 'The Black Phone' is an Universal/Blumhouse productions horror/thriller. Taking place in the late 1970s, 'The Black Phone' follows an ongoing kidnapping spree brought on by an individual only know as "The Grabber" in a small American town. Based off the short story of the same name by writer Joe Hill. The film kicks off with a perfectly creepy and mood setting opening credits sequence. Immediately following said sequence, the viewer is thrown into… -
RRR 2022
"Your friendship is more valuable than this life, brother. I'll die with pride."
Let me start off by saying this was one of the most cinematic experiences I've ever had... S. S. Rajamouli's 'RRR (Rise Roar Revolt)' is an absolute spectacle of a film. Between the incredible visuals, lively soundtrack and score, over the top action, phenomenal dance sequences, well placed comedy, and two powerful lead performances. I unfortunately missed my chance to see this one in cinemas, but fortunately…

Jujutsu Kaisen 2020
"I don’t want to regret anything because of the way I lived." - Yuji Itadori
Containing a simple, yet compelling story, a great cast of characters, some stunning animation and fight scenes, incredible music, and an outro titled "Lost in Paradise" that is nothing short of an absolute bop. In short, all I can really say is "Jujutsu Kaisen" most certainly is worth all the praise, hype, and awards it has received thus far in my opinion. With the potential to become not only one of my favorite shonen of all time, but anime as well.

Men 2022
"Why are you doing this?!?" - Harper
A24 has at the very least, delivered yet another mind bending, vastly unique, and well produced horror film. This time through the eyes of Alex Garland. 'MEN' is 100% guaranteed to divide audiences as it makes it's rounds across theaters these coming weeks...no doubt about it.As for me, I believe Jessie Buckley was absolutely phenomenal. The Climax is unforgettable and jarring. The visuals were gorgeously breath taking. The score perfectly haunting. The…
