"🎶Are you worried about Sarah?🎶"
A horror that starts as a standard invasion thriller, but pretty soon it becomes clear something Fucking Weird is going on, though only our central character, self help author and "victim", May, seems to think it's weird.
Directed with an assured touch by Natasha Kermani and ably acted by Brea Grant, Lucky is a film of ideas, and often feels fresh and spooky, though it doesn't ever quite capitalise on its potential - but I loved the ending. The music score is sensational.
